Hello, If you can please run the clean tool twice again this time with a /cloud and /managed switch. Fist use the /cloud switch described in the article. Please allow the machine to reboot once requested.
Then once back up run again with the /managed switch. At that time we should be able to reinstall and keep the endpoints online moving forward, I believe the older versions caused a conflict with you new install.
