We have 3 possible drivers in the following 3 posts. Only one works for your machine. Please use the driver has the picture matches your machine. For PC only for Windows 2000, XP(32 & 64-bit), Vista(32 & 64-bit), Windows 7(32 & 64-bit), Windows 8(32 & 64-bit), Windows 10 1. Disconnect the USB cable.
Download and Install the. The Dirver is Zipped. Download and save the Zipped file. Right Click the Downloaded file and select Extract All.
DO NOT run any program in the Zipped file. Connect the USB cable. Verify USB Driver Installation.
Built-in USB port for PC only, USB on left, Serial on Right, color may vary. For Win2K, XP, Vista(32 & 64-bit), Windows 7(32 & 64-bit), Windows 8(32 & 64-bit), Windows 10 1. Disconnect the USB cable.
Installthe driver by click and press Run button. When DriverSetup window shows up, press the INSTALL button. Close the DriverSetup window when finish. Connect the USB cable. If Found New Hardware Wizard shows up, select Install the Software automatically. Ignore any Windows Logo warning and press the Continue Anyway button. Press the Finish button and Restart your computer.
Verify USB Driver Installation. Verify USB Driver Installation 1. Disconnect the USB cable or the USB adapter. A Device Manager window will popup. Expand the Ports (COM&LPT) node in the device tree if it has one; otherwise, continue. Connect the USB cable or the USB adapter, turn on the Vinyl Cutter. Follow the Wizard for the first time.
Ensure the a new COM# node appears under the Ports (COM&LPT) node. If the new COM# is greater than COM9, you need to change it to COM9 or below. ( next Post) 8. The COM # is different in different USB port or computers. You need Restart computer to make this new COM# available for other applications. You need to set the same COM# accordingly in your sign making software.

In Device Manager, under the Ports (COM&LPT) node, write down all COM#. You will need them in Step 5. Double click the COM# node you need to change. It will bring up a Properties window. Select the Port Setting tab on the top of the Properties window.
Click the Advanced. Button, and bring up an Advanced Setting window. In the COM Port Number drop down list, select any number from 2 to 9, but not on the list you write down in Step 1. Ignore the (in use) if all COM2 to COM9 are followed by the (in use).

It will bring up a Properties window. Select the Driver tab on the top of the Properties window. Driver version and some other info are on the Driver tab. If you are using FTDI driver, the correct version should be 7. If the version is incorrect Press the Uninstall button and check the 'Delete the Driver Software for this Device' check box.
